Autumn, Abundance, and Activities!

Today was the first day it really seemed like fall ---- with the crisp, cool air and the first home football game!  What a glorious season!!  And just the time of year to use lots of natural materials in your home decor.  Vegetables, berries, nuts, mums, leaves ---- all are plentiful and reasonable----and make the best table decorations ever.  Here are just a few pictures and ideas  to get you started with your own "season of abundance".

We have lots of events coming up soon.  This Thursday night (September 13) is our Girls' Night Out from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.  Champagne punch, snacks, and "dessert on a stick" will all be part of this fun evening, along with door prizes every hour and your first chance to save 20% on all the new fall merchandise.  As a special addition, the Portobello Road Antiques will be available for one last week, and will be 10% off from September 10 - 15.   Join us, won't you?

Also, we are currently taking reservations for our Tabletop/Entertaining Seminar to take place on Thursday evening, October 4.  Featuring demonstrations by our own designers to show ideas for all of your holiday entertaining,  including fun recipes and tastings,  the charge for this event is $15.00, payable in advance to hold your place.  We are limited to seating for 45, so phone early (574-259-7717) for your reservations!

And, our Fall Sale is Friday, September 21 and Saturday, September 22.  Everything (excluding antiques, clearance items and special orders) will be 20% off.  Join us for cider and cookies as you shop for all of your fall decor.

So you see, we have lots coming up.  And, of course, we're crazy busy behind the scenes getting ready for the Christmas Open House, coming up October 28.  (I know, it's hard to believe it's only 7 weeks away!!)  Watch for more details to come!

We hope you'll put all of these events on your calendar.  You won't want to miss a single one of them!!  See you Thursday night.
