It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like........

An annual tradition ---- our group picture taken right before we open the doors for the Christmas Open House. (How fun it is to look at these photos from the past 25 years or so!)

What a beautiful day it was last Sunday to wait in line for the doors to open!

Carol VanBruaene and Bonnie Decola created our wonderful refreshments, many using the Stonewall Kitchen products that we carry. What a great job they did!

Joe Probst played the piano/keyboard for the Open House, providing us with festive holiday music.

A group of shoppers enjoying the "bright" tree.

And now, lots of pictures from various areas of the store:

If you missed Sunday's Open House, we will have our Holiday Dessert Soiree on Sunday, November 6 from noon till 4:00 p.m. We hope to see you then, if not sooner!

So we hope to see you all tomorrow, Sunday, October 23, from 11:00 - 6:00 to enjoy the festivities. An event not to be missed! See you then.

Invitation to a Holiday Luncheon

Quite often we have customers come in and mention how much they miss having lunch next door to us at Beiger Mansion, followed by a little shopping at Interiors Etc. Although they are no longer open for lunch to the public, Dennis and Ron have agreed to have a Holiday Luncheon for our customers that is sure to be great fun! The luncheon, taking place on Thursday, November 10 at noon, will feature a program by Dennis Slade, one of the owners of Beiger Mansion and an interior designer, sharing tips for your holiday decorating. The ticket price is $20.00, and includes a lovely lunch, tax, gratuity, a 20% off coupon to shop at Interiors Etc. that day, and the chance for one of several door prizes. Call your best girlfriend, and make a date to attend what is sure to become an anticipated annual event to kick off the holiday season!

Call Interiors Etc. for reservations --- 259-7717. Limited seating.

Oct. 18: LUNCHEON IS SOLD OUT! Thank you for your interest.

Simple Abundance

"It was one of those perfect English Autumnal days which occur more frequently in memory than in life....." author P.D. James

This past weekend was certainly one made up of those memory-making perfect autumnal days. Driving up into Michigan Saturday to do some final antiquing for the upcoming Christmas Open House, I found the trees to be breathtakingly beautiful! It was one of those days which make you grateful to be alive.....and isn't that what autumn is all about.......being grateful for all of our abundant blessings?

The tables pictured here are inspiration for your fall entertaining, as were the tables that our guest speaker Cheri Grunske created last Thursday evening for the 45 guests who attended our Tabletop/Entertaining Seminar. Thanks to everyone who attended!

Don't you just love the touch of cobalt blue with the fall colors on the above table? (We currently have the pictured wicker placemats in stock.)

White pumpkins have become my favorite this year----they certainly fit in with anyone's decor. These white pumpkins and the white ironstone create a charming look against the weathered pine table.

I'd love to be invited to a fall picnic like this one! The stacked pumpkins in the garden urn, with a grapevine wreath surrounding the base, would be an easy centerpiece inside or out.

And a cozy table for two in front of the fireplace would be a delightful break during a busy work week!

I hope you enjoyed this wonderful weekend, and found time to count your autumnal blessings!

P.S. It's hard the believe the Christmas Open House is only two weeks from Sunday!!!! Be sure and put it on your calendar.
