Dining In!

Even though most of us have dining rooms, I'm sure when it comes to daily dining, you will find us in the kitchen.  One of the most-utilized areas of the house, this area should be cozy and welcoming----- a place to start and end our day by nourishing both our bodies and our souls!  Above and below are pictures of some of my favorite eating areas.

Love the black and white tile floor on the diagonal!

Darling slipcovers on two of the chairs......

And isn't this striking?------different fabrics, united by the color scheme, on each of the chairs.  Love it!

Instead of bar stools at this "bar", a table backed up to it makes a cozy setting for two...

Benches make a nice alternative to chairs at this farm table.

And slipcovered benches add softness to all the wood in this kitchen.

What a cheerful place to start your morning or share a cup of tea!

A very classic early American kitchen and dining area includes Oriental rugs and check/leather chairs.

One bench with a back, and one without, adds interest to this charming eating area.

Pine table and chairs add warmth to this all white kitchen.

Where do you eat your breakfast?  Would new chair cushions or a fall centerpiece add a touch of charm to your "dine-in" kitchen?  Maybe a new rug to anchor the area?  Candles on the table or a new set of placemats?  You deserve to start and end each day in a cozy area that says "home"!

And speaking of placesettings, we still have seats available for our Tabletop/Entertaining Seminar taking place on Thursday, October 4 at 7 p.m. ($15.00/person).   See demonstrations by our designers in creating tabletops for Halloween, Thanksgiving/Fall and Christmas, as well as sample delicious recipes created with Stonewall Kitchen products.  Call 574-259-7717 for reservations.  Hope to see you there!
